As California’s largest nonpartisan association of women leaders, California Women Lead is working to change the face of power by breaking barriers, fighting for gender parity, and elevating women to their fullest potential. We value the power of community and know the difference that women can make when they are supported by a dynamic network of mentors and peers.
MEMBERSHIP
California Women Lead’s membership represents a wide range of ages, professional backgrounds, political views, and geographical areas. Together, we are leading a bold movement to achieve gender parity in local and state offices, as well as decision-making boards and commissions, so that all Californians are truly represented.
LEADERSHIP
Through California Women Lead’s programs and trainings, more women than ever before have applied for–and obtained–appointments at the state and local level, and have made their move to run for elected office and WIN. Women who never thought they could serve in elected and appointed positions are now leaders in their communities, with the help of the California Women Lead network.
